Come and join us for a transformation year of outreach whilst growing in confidence, skills and leadership capacity.

During your gap year, you will become immersed in every area of Restore Hope with the option of choosing to focus on one particular key area.  Restore Hoe is all about training and equipping and that is our aim for you too! We seek to develop the gifts and calling of each member of our team which is underpinned by a culture of prayer, worship (and cake!) whilst serving those in our local community.

Throughout the programme you will be fully embraced as part of the team and immersed into life at Restore Hope. As well as being supported by the team, you will be encouraged and guided in searching for a local Church to attend during your time here.

Part of the gap year programme includes the ‘Hope Leadership Academy’ where you will be empowered in your walk with Jesus, celebrated in your strengths, have you hope levels increased and then be released to impart that same hope and love to those we are called to serve at Restore Hope.

If you’re interested and would like to apply or find out more and ask any questions, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact Jo Clare by emailing:
You will be contacted by Jo to arrange an interview.

This is hands-on and physical. Be part of stewarding the beautiful land here at Restore Hope and work alongside some of our incredible volunteer teams. We have 360 acres of land to manage, as well as many buildings, barns, tractors and other equipment. You will spend a good amount of your time outdoors (weather permitting) and will need to be prepared for a lot of physical labour. There will be a lot of opportunity for you to develop existing skills and develop new ones on the go!

Our Schools Programme is full of fun and adventure. If you're interested in working directly with school aged children, this is the stream for you! You will spend a good amount of time outdoors, interacting with the children and encouraging outdoor discovery & learning. You may even be given the chance to prepare and lead a session with a group. Sessions may include; fire-lighting, den building, kite making & flying, drama and much more! The schools team also run one-off discovery sessions for schools throughout the summer, which you will be involved with setting-up and leading on. Join a team full of skill, experience AND fun!

Our Families team works directly with the families that we support. They come alongside, care for and guide them onto some relevant courses that we run down here at Restore Hope. Primarily we journey with mums (although we welcome dads and any other kind of carer too!) and their pre-schoolers within school hours. You could be helping with Chat & Play (our weekly mums & toddler group), Hope Cafe, or even helping on some of the courses that we run. You will also have the opportunity to be a part of creating, planning and pulling off fun activity days during the school holidays. Come and get to know our families whilst having a blast too!

The core of everything that goes on down here and enables everything run smoothly. There is a lot of work that goes in behind the scenes that allows the rest of the team to be able to do what they do! There are many areas you could get involved with within the media and comms team including; events, photography, general administration, social media, marketing, finance and more! Come and help build the foundations of bringing hope.
