Donating just £35 will help us bring hope this Christmas.
Isolation, financial burden and emotional struggles will make it very difficult for many local families to find a way to celebrate this Christmas. This is where together we can help, bringing delight and hope to the families that Restore Hope support year round. We will deliver FoodLife Christmas hampers to give them an abundance of food to enjoy on Christmas Day. You can give hope by supporting our local families…
A gift of just £35 enables :
- A local family to enjoy a plentiful Christmas dinner with all the trimmings including sprouts and Christmas pudding
- Christmas books and magazines explaining the hope of Christmas for all the family
- A video link to our very own chef showing how to prepare and serve their Christmas meal
- Hand delivered to the door with a personal conversation
- Connection to a year round family support with Restore Hope
If you would like to make a positive difference to local families facing challenges year round and support our FoodLife programme then please consider investing in a monthly donation.
Thank you #givehope.
At a time such a this, hope is absolutely vital, and we are continuing to bring hope to as many children, young people and families as possible.
We are continuing to bring hope, light and life in the midst of hopelessness through a variety of ways. This will include family support by phone and electronic means and partnering with other agencies and community groups to support practical needs. As of 6th July we are running a smaller Hope Cafe which will be invite only and in line with the government guidelines. We have taken the decision to postpone a number of our key hope programmes and activities until safe to do so. This includes Chat & Play, all of our courses and schools work.
We have set up a new volunteer partnership project called ‘Storehouse’ – Covid-19 Crisis. This Community Volunteer Response Programme is in partnership with volunteers from local churches, Chiltern Foodbank, Restore Hope and from across the community. The objective of Storehouse is to work together to practically help reach as many vulnerable families as possible.
Hope is life-changing and at this time more than ever, we want to play our part in supporting those in need.
Restore Hope relies heavily on the most incredible, loving and passionate volunteers who have a wide range of skills and a heart for the local community. We have lots going on that you can get involved in down here, we would love to hear from you!
Our FoodLife initiative started during the COVID-19 Outbreak. We support over 200 local families who had been impacted financially by the crisis by providing a Fresh Fruit & Veg box to the door and with personal conversations by our wonderful volunteers.
Why not come and enjoy a coffee & cake at our weekly Hope Cafe Mornings, where we will be showcasing all our variety of courses. A great opportunity to meet new people, see friends and hear more about what happens down here at Restore Hope.
