At a time such a this, hope is absolutely vital, and we are continuing to bring hope to as many children, young people and families as possible.
In line with the recent government advice, we have taken the decision to postpone a number of our key hope programmes and activities. This includes Chat & Play, Hope Cafe and all of our courses and schools work. We will, however, continue to bring hope, light and life in the midst of hopelessness. This will include family support by phone and electronic means and partnering with other agencies and community groups to support practical needs.
This week we have set up a new volunteer partnership project called ‘Storehouse’ – Covid-19 Crisis. This Community Volunteer Response Programme is in partnership with volunteers from local churches, Chiltern Foodbank, Restore Hope and from across the community. The objective of Storehouse is to work together to practically help reach as many vulnerable families as possible.
Hope is life-changing and at this time more than ever, we want to play our part in supporting those in need.
Are you interested in joining us as a full-time volunteer for a year – to grow in your giftings and skills, and to be a part of seeing hope restored in the lives of local children, young people and familes? We would love to hear from you if you are looking for an internship, a year out, a career break – an opportunity to invest in yourself and in others starting in September 2019.
CHAT AND PLAY
Come and join us with your pre-schooler in a fun, dynamic and caring environment on Wednesday mornings. There are loads of opportunities to have fun with your children through play, craft, stories & games.
Why not come and enjoy a coffee & cake at our fortnightly Hope Cafe Mornings, where we will be showcasing all our variety of courses. A great opportunity to meet new people, see friends and hear more about what happens down here at Restore Hope.
